So I started mixing her rice cereal with flavored water to see if she likes it better. So far it has been working a little bit. She still won't open her mouth very big to eat it but last night she did really good and actually finished the bowl! I'm so proud!
I took the padding out of her car seat today to give her a little more room. It makes me a little sad. I guess she REALLY isn't a newborn anymore.
They say 3 months marks the infant stage, but I decided eating rice cereal marks the infant stage. She's getting to be a big girl!
Kingston hates the rice cereal so maybe I should try that trick. Someone else told me to try putting some apple sauce in it also so maybe that will work too! :)
ReplyDeleteI took the padding out and may have cried a bit... they are growing soo fast its crazy!!
She is such a doll Beth so so cute and looks so much like you!
I do the same with Jamison (putting it in with food) -- they say to mix it with formula so it doesn't taste so "ricey" (that isn't even a word but, you know what I mean) I put a teaspoon or two of rice in with his veggies and a teaspoon or two of oatmeal in with his fruit. Just enough to make it a little thicker.
ReplyDeleteoh cute! we always would like liquify strawberries or pears and mix them into sophs rice cereal with some breast milk or formula. she loved it!
