So happy!
Alice turned 5 months old today. My little girl is getting so big!
At 5 Months Alice:
Still sleeps 9 hours every night!! Hooray!
(10:30pm to 7:30am)
Rolls back to tummy all the time.
But still HATES tummy time.
Tries to sit up all on her own like a big girl.
Giggles when I tickle her, make funny faces, hang her upside down, and put her feet on my face.
(Yes, my child is weird.)
Loves to take baths right before bed, and still loves to splash.
I am always wet afterwards.
Is a really good complainer.
When she is tired she will just lay on my shoulder and complain until I put her to sleep.
Maybe one day she'll be able to fall asleep on her own.
I guess we gotta work on that..
Loves toys!
Everyday she likes them more and more.
Uses bigger binkies as of last week.
I don't know if she is necessarily ready for them, but she doesn't hate them.
(Born Free are her fav)
Is actually interested in Marx (our cat) finally.
When he is near her she will just stare at him.
Hates when the sun is in her eyes!
We're gonna have to buy her some shades soon.
Then she can be cool like mom and dad ;)
Finally fits in Justin's favorite onesie!
(It's 0-3 months but runs really really big, and it's DVS so of course Justin loves it haha)
Doesn't take good naps unless she is at home.
She will take 4 to 5 a day, 6 if she wakes up from one too early.
One in the morning, two in the afternoon, and two after I get home from work.
How she manages to still sleep 9 hours I have no idea.
I guess she just really loves to sleep.
If we don't let her nap she is a crankster.
Loves to be in her room, on her bench.
It's super comfortable.
Is always playing with her tongue.
It's always outside of her mouth haha.
Loves water.
I have given her a little bit of water since she was tiny tiny to get rid of her hiccups.
She loves it. If she ever has the hiccups and we don't give it to her she gets mad.
And she'll try to drink her bathwater. When she does, she smiles.
Tried her sippy cup!
The water comes out too fast or she would probably use it all the time.
Is a mommy's girl this month. Yay!
Eats 6 oz. every 4 hours.
LOVES OATMEAL.
I filmed her eating it last night because she is just so good at it.
But I can't figure out how to put it up so I'll work on that.
Likes to play in her jumparoo for 10 minutes max.
After a while she will just cry cry cry until we take her out.
(But she goes crazy when she's in it. We put a musical mat underneath it that makes jungle noises, silly noises, and just plays music to make it even more fun)
(PS she is only 3 months in this picture haha)
Laughs at her vibrating chair because she loves it so much!
Stays home with daddy every day now!
Lucky girl.
I can't believe it's been 5 months already.
Everyone that works for our company (Las Vegas Parking) always asks how she is and if she's growing and are just shocked that it's already been 5 months.
They always say "Oh man, I remember when you were pregnant!"
Trust me...I remember too. Let's not go back there...
But I think miss Alice is teething.
She has been so cranky lately and will just chomp on her teething toy.
I think that's why she's been such a mommy's girl too...
But if she is teething she's not bad at it.
I've heard horror stories, and she doesn't even fit into the horrific category.
She is such a great baby and she makes our lives complete!
All regrets I had about getting pregnant are totally gone.
5 months is so much fun!
She's not as boring anymore and has sooo much personality.
In high school I always said I was never going to get married or have kids, but I love my husband and I love my girl. Life couldn't be better than it is now.
Well, if I wasn't working it would be...but it's okay.
Working gives me a life I guess haha.
Love you goofy goober girl!
(Cutest gummy face ever)
she is soo cute!! Getting soo big too. Ahh I just can't get enough of her.
